We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to lead the maintenance team and ensure the reliability and efficiency of production lines and equipment. The successful candidate will plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs, manage spare parts inventory, train technical staff, and drive improvements to maintain continuous production, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily preventive maintenance (mechanical and electrical) by conducting regular walkthroughs of production lines, coordinating with shift supervisors, and intervening to resolve operational issues.
- Coordinate with supervisors to identify maintenance needs (materials, lubricants, belts, spare parts) to ensure fair workload distribution and support the development of trained personnel.
- Execute preventive maintenance according to the established maintenance schedules and ensure team compliance.
- Monitor and control spare parts and consumables inventory used in operations and notify relevant departments (Purchasing and Stores).
- Prepare and submit periodic breakdown/failure reports on time.
- Record man-hours for maintenance and repair tasks for each piece of equipment to facilitate maintenance scheduling.
- Ensure calibration and inspection procedures for production lines and measurement/control instruments are performed continuously.
- Enforce and follow safety and quality procedures in the workplace.
- Direct maintenance staff to implement operating and maintenance instructions applicable to equipment throughout its service life.
- Review electrical panels and verify proper cable installation regularly and prior to operation.
- Organize training sessions on equipment maintenance and provide training reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 35 years of proven experience in maintenance within manufacturing or production environments.
- Relevant training courses in equipment maintenance and repair techniques.
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with maintenance software and applications.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare accurate technical reports and follow up on corrective actions.
