Job PurposeThe Maintenance & Testing & Commissioning Engineer is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, conducting testing & commissioning for electrical systems, ensuring equipment reliability, and supporting project handover with high-quality technical performance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities for electrical/mechanical installations in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot system faults, diagnose issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports, test sheets, checklists, and commissioning documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution of T&C activities.
- Verify system performance, safety compliance, and functional operation before project handover.
- Assist in reviewing technical drawings, method statements, and maintenance procedures.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with HSE standards and company policies.
- Provide technical support during installation, startup, and operational phases of projects.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurrent issues and recommend improvement actions.
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 23 years of experience in maintenance and/or testing & commissioning
- Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical systems, equipment, and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with relevant standards, drawings, and documentation (e.g., single line diagrams, load schedules, method statements).
- Hands-on experience with testing instruments and diagnostic tools.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Willingness to travel or work on-site as required.
