Role Overview:
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on Kalmar port equipment (reach stackers, forklifts, terminal tractors) to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain Kalmar equipment systems
- Diagnose electrical faults in control systems, CAN bus networks, wiring, and components
- Use Kalmar Service Tool and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and commissioning
- Read technical manuals and diagrams
- Support maintenance planning and coordinate with engineers and technicians
- Maintain service records and recommend improvements
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
- 35 years experience with electrical maintenance (industrial/port equipment preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Safety-focused and able to work independently or in a team
