About Us

Role Purpose

Coordinate with the assigned team leader to execute engineering activities relating to the test and evaluation of vehicles and vehicle systems, by collaboration with assigned team members, within the agreed scope of work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of electrical test and evaluation plans with respect to process, procedure, cost, and schedule relating to vehicle and sub-system testing.
  • Plan resources and report on the progress of test activities as per agreed schedules.
  • Execute test requirements, gather and analyze data, and generate quality reports.
  • Maintain current test equipment and software.
  • Design / develop / acquire new or specialized equipment and test methods to support test requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members on electrical designs, technical solution, and faultfinding.
  • Advise, guide and provide support to other departments.
  • Stay abreast of emerging industry trends in the field of vehicle and sub-system testing and emerging technology.
  • Works within the limits of authority as defined by the Engineering Manager.

Experience And Education

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronic) or appropriately equivalent professional or industry experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience with vehicle electrical and electronic systems in the defense or off-highway industry.
  • Experience with data acquisition systems (National Instruments/ Somat/ Siemens SCADA/ eDAQ).
  • Knowledge of High-Speed video and tracking software (preferably TEMA software).
  • Knowledge of OXTS suite of data acquisition systems.
  • Knowledge of engineering data analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, Python)

  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to deal with work-related deadlines, accountabilities and responsibilities
  • Must be able to work under frequent job pressure generated by short and inflexible deadlines
