Ontime Healthcare is on the hunt for a versatile and experienced Electrician to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems within our healthcare facilities, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain various types of electrical equipment and systems, including lighting, wiring, and circuit breakers
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring swift resolutions
- Interpret complex diagrams and blueprints to effectively execute electrical projects
- Adhere to national and local electrical codes as well as safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential electrical hazards
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff and contractors on larger projects
- Provide updates to management on ongoing projects and electrical system statuses
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, providing electrical support as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Thorough understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
- Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship or training program required
- Valid licensing or certification as an electrician is highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary
