Job Title: Electrician (Maintenance & Projects)

Reports to: MEP Supervisor / Operations Manager
Job Purpose
To carry out electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works for residential, commercial, and hospitality properties, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with UAE regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding on:
- Lighting systems
- Power outlets and distribution boards
- Switchgear, MCBs, MCCBs, and isolators
- Emergency lighting and exit signs
- Perform electrical installations for new works, fit-outs, and refurbishments.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PPM) as per AMC schedules.
- Identify electrical faults and rectify them with minimal downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and load schedules.
- Test circuits using appropriate testing equipment (multimeter, insulation tester, etc.).
- Ensure all work complies with DEWA regulations, local codes, and safety standards.
- Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required.
- Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and other trades on site.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure tools are in good condition.
- Prepare basic job reports and update supervisors on completed works.
- Follow company HSE policies and wear PPE at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 35 years UAE experience in maintenance and electrical works.
- Strong knowledge of LV systems and building electrical infrastructure.
- Experience in AMC, facilities management, and fit-out projects preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic English communication skills (Arabic is an advantage).
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
