Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Data Center Systems Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in managing and maintaining data center electro-mechanical infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and uptime of critical systems, including power distribution, cooling systems, and other facility equipment supporting data center operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, operate, and maintain data center electro-mechanical systems, including UPS systems, generators, PDUs, switchgear, HVAC, and cooling systems.
  • Ensure 24/7 availability and reliability of all critical infrastructure supporting data center operations.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades.
  • Monitor BMS/DCIM systems to track facility performance and respond to alarms or incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or mechanical faults impacting data center operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, operational procedures, and industry standards.
  • Maintain documentation for maintenance activities, incident reports, and system performance.
  • Support capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades for the data center.
  • Participate in emergency response and incident management for critical systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data center facilities, critical infrastructure, or similar environments.
  • Hands-on experience with UPS systems, generators, chillers, CRAC/CRAH units, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with BMS (Building Management Systems) and DCIM tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of data center operational standards and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Tier II / Tier III / Tier IV data centers.
  • Certifications related to data center operations or electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency and facility optimization in data centers.
  • Experience working in mission-critical environments.
