Electromechanical Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Electromechanical Engineer to join our operations team. In this role, you will be critical to the reliability and efficiency of our substation facilities. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electromechanical systems, ensuring continuous and safe power delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment within the substation, including transformers, switchgear, motors, and circuit breakers.

• Inspect, calibrate, and repair mechanical components associated with electrical infrastructure, such as cooling systems, pumps, and pneumatic controls.

• Troubleshoot complex electromechanical faults to minimize downtime and ensure system integrity.

• Assist in the testing, commissioning, and integration of new electromechanical hardware.

• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and safety inspections.

• Ensure strict compliance with industry safety standards, local regulations, and company protocols for high-voltage environments.

  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics/Electromechanical Engineering.

• Proven hands-on experience working with electromechanical systems in a power substation or heavy industrial setting.

• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.

• Solid understanding of power generation, transmission equipment, and associated cooling/mechanical support systems.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
