Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a business partner to the relevant business manager and leads local finance teams to optimize the financial performance within an assigned division / business area. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification in Qatar.
You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Operational partnership: Partner directly with the Local Division Manager to drive strategy and execution to deliver on profitable growth targets

  • Compliance and Integrity: Direct responsibility for the accuracy of all financial books, records and reports for the ELSE Division in Qatar.
  • Drive compliance and integrity throughout the Country in support of the LDM
  • Translates financial position into realistic forecasts and establishes actions and measurable targets to enhance financial return.
  • Manages the forecasting process for the Local Division, evaluates financial implications, builds scenarios, and recommends actions
  • Monitors the financial performance of the Local Division, provides insight and analysis to support operational decision making.
  • Identifies issues and supports management on action plans to drive appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency.
  • Manages and closely monitors the cash flow and takes action to improve Net Working Capital
  • Planning cycle leadership: Support the financial budget process for the Division
  • Partner with the ELSE Local Division Manager for Qatar to operationalize
    financial targets and challenges



Qualifications for the role

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or accounting is
    required
  • 5-8 years of experience in a related Role
  • combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated performance
    and results in the areas of business, finance, operational controlling and/or
    accounting
  • Strong cost planning knowledge and understanding of service accounting and
    revenue recognition
  • Hands on experience of working in SAP Modules FI, CO, MM, PP, PS
  • Strong Microsoft Office/computer skills and expertise in APP reporting tools
