Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Embroidery Digitizer & Machine Operator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing embroidery files, operating industrial embroidery machines, and supporting production costing to ensure efficient and profitable operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Convert logos and artwork into embroidery-ready files
- Prepare embroidery files in formats such as DST, PES, or similar
- Select proper stitch types, directions, and densities
- Estimate stitch count and calculate embroidery production cost
- Determine thread usage, machine time, and production cost per design
- Operate industrial embroidery machines
- Set up threads, needles, and fabrics
- Monitor machine performance during production
- Ensure embroidery quality meets company standards
- Optimize production methods to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Maintain organized records of embroidery files and costing details
- Work closely with production team to meet deadlines
Requirements:
- Proven experience in embroidery digitizing and machine operation
- Knowledge of embroidery digitizing software (Wilcom preferred)
- Strong understanding of embroidery costing and stitch estimation
- Experience working with industrial embroidery machines
- Good understanding of fabrics, threads, and production processes
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage production efficiency and cost control
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in embroidery production costing
- Ability to handle multiple machines
- Basic machine troubleshooting skills
- Experience in garment or textile production
