Job Description

The Enablers & City OS Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering projects related to the City OS platform and foundational smart city capabilities such as integration, data platforms, APIs, cybersecurity, and shared digital services.

The role ensures successful implementation of enabling technologies that support multiple smart city initiatives and products, coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of City OS and enablers technology projects.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Define scope, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Ensure alignment with smart city and platform roadmaps.

Technical & Integration Coordination

  • Coordinate implementation of enabling capabilities such as:
  • Integration and API platforms
  • Data and analytics platforms
  • IoT platforms and shared services
  • Cybersecurity and infrastructure components
  • Work closely with architecture and engineering teams.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate with product managers, business units, and partners.
  • Manage vendors, system integrators, and technology providers.
  • Facilitate workshops, status meetings, and steering committees.

Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues.
  • Control scope, change requests, and project documentation.
  • Ensure governance and compliance with project standards.

Reporting & Governance

  • Provide regular project status reports and dashboards.
  • Track schedule, budget, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Support procurement, contract management, and audit readiness.

  • PMP or PRINCE2
  • Agile/Scrum (advantage)
