Job Description

We're seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Operations Engineer to be at the forefront of our autonomous delivery operations. You'll be the bridge between our technology and real-world deployment, ensuring our fleet operates flawlessly while supporting our rapid growth across the region.

Role Breakdown: This is a hybrid technical operations position: 60% Field Service Engineer (vehicle deployment, on-site troubleshooting, spare parts management), 25% Technical Support Specialist (customer training, documentation, solution delivery), and 15% Operations Coordinator (R&D collaboration, service expansion, process optimization). It is a hands-on technical role where you'll deploy autonomous vehicles, solve complex operational challenges, and work directly with cutting-edge autonomous technology in one of the world's most dynamic cities.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle Operations & Maintenance

  • Deploy software updates and manage hardware upgrades for our autonomous delivery fleet
  • Diagnose and resolve software/hardware issues to maintain 99%+ fleet uptime
  • Perform system integration, testing, and quality assurance for new vehicle deployments
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs and equipment replacements

Customer Support & Service Excellence

  • Provide rapid technical support to enterprise clients
  • Develop and deliver technical training programs for customers and partners
  • Build and maintain overseas after-sales service stations as we expand
  • Manage spare parts inventory, logistics, and supply chain coordination

Process Optimization & Documentation

  • Create comprehensive O&M process documentation and technical support materials
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and work with R&D to optimize maintenance tools
  • Participate in testing cycles and provide field feedback to engineering teams
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and reliability improvements

An ideal candidate for this role must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Automation, or related field
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with Linux systems administration
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (routers, switches, TCP/IP)
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Professional English proficiency (verbal and written) - this is a must for our international team
  • Valid UAE driver's license or ability to obtain one
