About the Job:

Mechanical maintenance activities in the Barges / Marine units and provide expert engineering technical support to ensure equipment availability and reliability and that distribution network of the Barges are operational and maintained in line with best world class practices and standards.
Plan and supervise the activities of the personnel and resources of the team to achieve the Department objectives in an efficient and costu2011conscious manner while ensuring implementation of approved operational plans for the Section in line with Department objectives.
Provides leadership and guidance for the improvement of systems and procedures to increase overall efficiency. Optimizes the performance & maintainability of control systems by planning timely upgrades and replacements.

Job Specific Accountabilities Part 1:

u00B7 Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of all machinery and equipment on board the vessels.
u00B7 Develop and maintain codes of practice, Mechanical Maintenance policies, procedures, and guidelines, in compliance with corporate and ADNOC policies and standards to ensure consistent implementation.
u00B7 Manage the preventive major and extraordinary maintenance programs in an efficient and costu2011effective manner, arrange for long term and shortu2011term maintenance plans and coordinate major overhauls and shutdowns of the assigned equipment to ensure availability and reliability.
u00B7 Ensure timely replacements of capital equipment and arrange long and shortu2011term asset replacement plans for all facilities with focus on Health Safety and Environmental Critical Equipment Systems to maintain efficient operating conditions and integrity.
u00B7 Monitor and analyses failure reports, identify bad actors, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and rectify the problems to initiate corrective actions and develop solutions to improve performance. Identify equipment obsolescence threats and develop recovery strategies to ensure timely action.
u00B7 Advise and resolve any critical breakdown of Mechanical equipment in Barges operations to ensure safe operations.
u00B7 Ensure study of all related technical and safety alerts to avoid reu2011occurrence at facility and advise technical and safety alerts relevant to facility.
u00B7 Prepare and submit reports related to but not limited to work planning, works completed, budget monitoring and control etc

Job Specific Accountabilities Part 2:

Modifications and Projects (Mechanical Maintenance related)
u00B7 Prepare feasibility reports, engineering drawings and cost estimates for additions, Alterations, expansion, modification of all Mechanical systems in accordance with company policy, manufacturer's specifications and best engineering practices.
u00B7 Liaise with the Projects team within the division regarding ongoing and upcoming ADNOC projects related to Mechanical systems undertaken by them until completion of projects and taking over by Maintenance Department.

Safety
u00B7 Contribute to the operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the organization by reducing accidents, damage, and financial loss.
u00B7 Comply with ADNOC accountability framework requirements and ensure compliance with 100% HSE culture.

Minimum Requirements:

u00B7 B. Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Professional Qualification.
u00B7 4 years experience in mechanical maintenance engineering of rotating and static equipment, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
u00B7 Professional Mechanical Certification.u00B7 Fair oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English, and the ability to collaborate in a multicultural, multinational team environment.
u00B7 Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively with the numerous working interfaces.
