We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with hands-on experience in supporting, configuring, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructures. This is a client-facing support role that will focus on our network products, ensuring they are maintained, and optimized in line with client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide client-facing support for our network products and related infrastructure.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
- Monitor product performance and proactively resolve connectivity and stability issues.
- Implement and maintain product-specific network security policies and configurations.
- Assist in upgrades, patching, and maintenance of our network products.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams and vendors for product-related escalations.
- Maintain documentation of product deployments, incidents, and support activities.
- Deliver timely support in accordance with defined SLAs and response timelines.
Education And Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), and switching technologies.
- Experience with firewall administration, VPN technologies, and secure networking practices.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients.
Key Skills
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent).
- Experience in multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
- Prior exposure to supporting proprietary or specialized network products.
- Knowledge of data center or cloud networking concepts is a plus.
