Job Description


JOB PURPOSE


Assess and lead the major rotating equipment maintenance activities which include, but not limited to, equipment healthiness evaluation, issues identification, and troubleshooting to ensure the Plantu2019s safety, performance, and reliability at high levels with minimum downtime and optimum cost to meet the Companyu2019s maintenance objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


Rotating Equipment Maintenance
uF0B7 Develop long range plans for machinery overhaul which include, but not limited to, the equipment performance evaluations to maintain a high reliability, integrity, and the Plantu2019s business continuity.
uF0B7 Assess the availability and healthiness of the insurance spares and the required resources that are necessary to execute the job as scheduled and reduce the equipmentu2019s down time.
uF0B7 Conduct and/or support in the root cause analysis investigations, risk assessments, solution and action plansu2019 development and implementation, and reliability centred maintenance (RCM) to contribute in improving the Plantu2019s reliability.
uF0B7 Support the Operations Team in the equipment testing, surge mapping, troubleshooting, routine equipment surveillance, and start-up activities to ensure the integrity, reliability, and sustainability of the mechanical assets associated with rotating equipment.
uF0B7 Prepare the scope of work and follow-up with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and other service providers for the refurbishment activities to ensure timely equipment functioning and contribute in optimizing the maintenance cost.

Lead the major overhauls of major rotating equipment such as centrifugal compressors, gas turbines, and large pumps to ensure the job completion as per the set plan.
uF0B7 Provide technical support to area maintenance and operationsu2019 teams by identifying areas of concern, carrying out troubleshooting, and resolving the identified issues to ensure the equipment continuous high performance.
uF0B7 Ensure timely and accurate record of the rotating equipment major parts for proper planning and replacement of aged parts. Ensure the preservation of critical insurance spares in coordination with the Warehouse Team under the Procurement Division.
uF0B7 Coordinate with the Engineering & Technical Services Division to request technical services (RTS) related to major equipment, agree on scope of works, and review and implement technical services requestsu2019 recommendations.
uF0B7 Provide inputs for asset life extension management (ALEM) studies and review ALEM recommendations. Carry-out preliminary/basic vibration analysis to support the troubleshooting activities.
uF0B7 Follow-up on the permanent and temporary Plant change management requests (PCRs) related to major equipment, starting from the initiation, pre-feed, feed, execution, and up to post-close stage to improve the Plantu2019s availability, reliability, integrity, and cost optimization.
uF0B7 Coordinate with the Projectsu2019 teams to review the rotating equipment documents of the new projects, retrofit, modifications, service bulletins and the Plantu2019s expansions starting from the project pre-feed stage till its completion.
uF0B7 Prepare analytical reports on rotating equipment maintenance status and other relevant data to enable decision making.
Supervision
uF0B7 Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
uF0B7 Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective functional objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Minimum Qualification
uF0B7 Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
uF0B7 6 years of experience in the maintenance and operations of rotating equipment such as centrifugal compressors and turbines within the Oil and Gas industry.
uF0B7 Strong background in equipment performance analysis and maintenance.
uF0B7 Strong background in the relevant business processes, systems, and tools.
uF0B7 Knowledge of basic vibration analysis of rotating equipment machinery.
uF0B7 Knowledge of the relevant HSE procedures and risk assessment practices.
uF0B7 Experience in writing technical analytical reports.
uF0B7 Excellent verbal, writing, and presentation skills.
uF0B7 Planning, organising, scheduling, co-ordinating, checking, examining, and recording skills.
