Job Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of civil & architectural engineering activities to ensure project requirements are delivered in line with approved scope, schedule, quality standards, and technical specifications.
• Manage the review and approval of civil & architectural designs, drawings, calculations, method statements, and technical submittals to ensure constructability, accuracy, and compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.
• Oversee engineering interfaces with project management, construction, procurement, QA/QC, and planning teams to resolve technical issues and maintain smooth project progress.
• Lead value engineering, optimization, and technical problem-solving initiatives to improve design efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and execution feasibility without compromising quality or safety.
• Manage civil engineering resources, workloads, and team performance, including task allocation, coaching, technical guidance, and capability development of engineers and designers.
• Review project schedules, engineering deliverables, and priority plans to ensure timely issuance of drawings, calculations, and technical documents required for construction and stakeholder approvals.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities on technical matters, clarifications, approvals, and design changes to support uninterrupted project execution.
• Monitor engineering-related costs, material quantities, and change impacts, and provide technical recommendations to support cost control, variation management, and efficient resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, contract requirements, statutory regulations, and company procedures throughout all civil engineering activities and deliverables.
• Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of engineering risks, constructability concerns, and site-related constraints that may affect project delivery.
• Review technical reports, progress updates, and engineering KPIs, and provide management with accurate status information, key risks, and corrective action plans.
• Support tendering, bidding, and pre-construction activities by providing technical inputs, scope reviews, quantity validation, and engineering assumptions where required.
Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Master's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management. Professional certification such as PMP and membership in a recognized engineering body is preferred.
• AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit/BIM coordination tools, MS Project or Primavera P6, Microsoft Office, quantity takeoff/reporting tools, document management systems
• Proven experience leading civil and architectural design for Energy, and infrastructure projects.
• Strong command of design software, and related tools.
• Deep understanding of EPC project workflows, design integration, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
