Job Description

The Enterprise Account Manager at Paymob is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with large, strategic enterprise merchants. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, increasing payment volumes, and ensuring long-term partnerships by delivering Paymob's payment solutions across multiple markets and channels.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of enterprise merchants, acting as the primary commercial point of contact
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, finance, product, and operations teams on the merchant side
  • Drive revenue growth through volume expansion, new product adoption, and cross-border opportunities
  • Develop strategic account plans aligned with merchant business objectives and Paymob's growth goals
  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract renewals
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Product, Risk, Operations, Tech, Support) to ensure seamless onboarding, integration, and performance
  • Monitor transaction performance, payment success rates, and settlement metrics
  • Identify risks, proactively resolve issues, and reduce merchant churn
  • Support merchants with payment optimization, new features, and regulatory changes
  • Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline updates, and performance reports to leadership
  • Stay up to date with fintech trends, competitors, and payment innovations in the region

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • 2:3 years of experience in enterprise account management, sales, or partnerships within fintech, payments, or financial services
  • Proven experience managing large enterprise merchants or strategic accounts
  • Strong understanding of payment ecosystems (acquiring, gateways, PSPs, cards, wallets)
  • Excellent commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-country enterprise relationships
