Job Title: Enterprise Data Architect
Location: Dubai

Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise data architecture blueprint (conceptual, logical, physical models).
- Design and guide implementation of cloud data platforms (primarily on Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, ADF, Azure SQL, Power BI).
- Set standards and best practices for data modelling, integration (ETL/ELT), data quality, metadata and master data.
- Ensure robust data security, governance and compliance in partnership with InfoSec and business teams.
- Optimize data platforms for performance, scalability and cost.
- Partner with product, business and engineering teams to translate use cases into scalable data and analytics solutions.
- Mentor data engineers/architects and contribute to architecture review and data governance forums.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in data architecture, including enterprisescale data platforms in complex environments.
- Strong handson experience with Azure data stack (Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, Azure SQL, Power BI or similar).
- Solid understanding of big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and modern data warehousing/lakehouse concepts.
- Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and governance.
- Experience in retail /ecommerce environments is nice to have
