Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the onboarding of large institutional buyers for a structured B2B fruit trading platform. The role focuses on building long-term relationships with high-volume buyers across the GCC region and ensuring successful onboarding, activation, and continuity of trade under defined commercial frameworks.

This is a strategic, relationship-driven role requiring strong exposure to institutional procurement, trade operations, and buyer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage institutional buyers across retail, wholesale, and distribution segments
  • Establish direct relationships with procurement heads and category decision-makers
  • Lead buyer onboarding, documentation, and activation processes
  • Negotiate structured commercial terms in alignment with company policies
  • Secure recurring volume commitments and long-term supply arrangements
  • Coordinate with internal teams including operations, logistics, finance, and compliance
  • Ensure smooth execution of initial trade cycles and ongoing transactions
  • Maintain strict adherence to documentation, compliance, and operational standards
  • Build sustainable, long-term institutional partnerships

Target Buyer Segments

  • Large organized retail chains
  • Regional grocery and specialty food retailers
  • High-volume wholesalers and institutional distributors

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 815 years of experience in institutional sales, procurement, commodity trade, or B2B FMCG
  • Strong exposure to GCC institutional buyer ecosystem
  • Experience working with structured commercial or trade models
  • Proven ability to negotiate with senior stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of trade documentation and buyer onboarding processes
  • Strong relationship management and coordination skills
  • Existing institutional buyer network is a plus
