Job Description

The Entertainment & Event Specialist is a UAE-based role responsible for sourcing, coordinating, and managing world-class entertainment for East West Entertainment Group.. The role also supports international programs through talent research, database development, training coordination, and administrative support for our luxury cruise programs upholding EWEG's commitment to excellence, creativity, and service. Acting as the regional point of contact, the specialist researches international and local talent, books and contracts UAE talent, and supervises local event operations to ensure seamless execution.

WHO YOU ARE

  • This is an Entry Level position for a candidate with Entertainment Experience looking to grow their career.
  • An Entertainment Professional with knowledge of the entertainment and events industry, AND a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • A Clear communicater able to interact clearly and confidently with clients, talent, and internal teams.
  • Able to Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Follows established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain consistency in execution.
  • Experienced in event and activation operations, ensuring smooth on-site delivery.
  • Highly organized with strong administrative and research abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, with a clean driver's license and access to a car for site visits and event requirements.

REMOTE RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Sourcing & Management

  • Identify, source, and evaluate entertainment talent
  • Internationally based - including Guest Entertainers and Local Entertainers,
  • Middle East Based - including Roaming Groups, Artists, Entertainers, Musicians and Variety Acts,
  • Ensuring alignment with EWEG's high standards of excellence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing talent, supporting long-term partnerships and engagement.

Database Development

  • Research and expand the company's independent talent database, covering multiple geographies, disciplines, and specialties with a focus on international and UAE-based artists.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date talent records and promotional materials to support program development and selection processes.

Program Coordination

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of entertainment programs and enrichment offerings across various venues and client portfolios.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure all entertainment aligns with client expectations and brand standards.

Toolkit & SOP Support

  • Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive toolkits, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operational resources that ensure consistent, high-quality experiences.

Training & Quality Assurance

  • Support the preparation and delivery of training for entertainers and speakers, ensuring all performances and presentations meet EWEG and client standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback and ongoing assistance to maintain excellence in execution.

Event Coordination

  • Collaborate with the Cruise Product and Middle East teams to integrate entertainment talent seamlessly into planned enrichment and event programs.
  • Provide logistical and operational support before, during, and after events to ensure smooth execution and guest satisfaction.

Administrative & Reporting Support

  • Maintain and update internal trackers, prepare reports, and manage relevant administrative documentation.
  • Support the Onboarding & Logistics Manager in coordinating travel, accommodation, and onboarding logistics for contracted talent.

UAE BASED RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as an on-the-ground representative for EWEG across UAE-based operations and activations.

  • Operate and supervise live events, ensuring seamless coordination between talent, production, and client teams.
  • Manage contracted talent onsite, providing direction, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring performance quality.
  • Conduct site visits and technical assessments of venues to evaluate suitability for entertainment programming.
  • Book, negotiate, and contract local talent and event suppliers in alignment with EWEG standards and budget parameters.
  • Support logistics planning, event setup, and post-event reporting to ensure consistent service delivery and client satisfaction.
