Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team in the field of Wet Utility Networks.

You will play an important role in our organization, contributing to the successful planning, design, and implementation of wet utilities projects, including water supply, stormwater drainage, sewage, and irrigation networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Design: Utilize your expertise to develop detailed engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment plants. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analysis and calculations to support design decisions, system performance evaluations, and optimization efforts. Use specialized software and tools to model and simulate wet utilities systems.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to water treatment and wastewater treatment. Ensure project designs and operations comply with applicable legal requirements and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the Water and Environment consulting field. Participate in professional development activities, attend conferences, and pursue relevant certifications to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field is a plus but not mandatory for construction.
  • 2 to 5 years of professional experience in wet utilities systems, including water supply and firefighting networks, irrigation networks, sewage networks, drainage networks
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as AutoCAD, and hydraulic modeling software (Water Gems, Sewer Gems, Flow Master, Civil3D, etc...).
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in the Middle East and Africa is preferred.
  • Proficiency in BIM software is a plus.
