Are you passionate about driving environmental excellence in the mining industry Stevin Rock, one of the largest quarrying companies in the world, is seeking an experienced Environmental Lead to champion sustainability, compliance, and innovation across our operations.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the development and implementation of environmental management programmes.
- Ensure compliance with UAE and international environmental regulations.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, resource efficiency, and circular economy practices.
- Investigate environmental incidents and coordinate emergency response.
- Engage with internal teams, regulatory authorities, and community stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years experience in environmental roles, ideally in mining or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAE environmental laws and ISO 14001.
- Proven track record in risk assessment, incident investigation, and sustainability programme management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- MUST HAVE UAE DRIVING LICENSE
