Role Purpose:
Support environmental assessment, compliance, and monitoring for energy projects financed by IFIs, ensuring alignment with international environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review Environmental Impact Assement and Environmental Management plan , environmental audits, and screening reports.
- Ensure compliance IFI Performance standards.
- Conduct environmental baseline studies and impact assessments.
- Monitor environmental performance during construction and operation.
- Review contractor environmental deliverables.
- Support environmental reporting and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science/engineering/planning.
- 8+ years of experience in environmental assessments for IFIfinanced projects.
- Strong knowledge of IFI environmental and social standards.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
