Role Overview:
The ERP Finance Lead will drive ERP transformation and continuous improvement across the Finance function, ensuring systems effectively support financial operations, reporting, compliance, and business growth. This role acts as the key bridge between Finance, IT, and business teams to optimize processes and maximize ERP value.
This position requires a finance-qualified professional (MBA Finance / CA / CMA or equivalent) with 10+ years of experience and strong hands-on ERP expertise (SAP or Oracle Fusion preferred).
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Transformation & Governance
- Lead implementation and enhancement of ERP finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, Budgeting, Consolidation).
- Manage requirements, UAT, and go-live while ensuring alignment with finance policies and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with implementation partners and vendors to adopt best practices.
Process Optimization & Enhancements
- Identify automation and efficiency opportunities across finance processes.
- Govern system enhancements, workflows, and controls in collaboration with IT.
- Maintain functional documentation, SOPs, and process maps.
Operational Support & Data Governance
- Oversee ERP functional support for Finance users and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Govern master data (Chart of Accounts, cost centers, projects, intercompany).
- Ensure system integrity and compliance with financial controls.
Cross-Functional Integration
- Ensure seamless integration between Finance and upstream/downstream functions such as Procurement (P2P), Sales (O2C), Projects, Supply Chain, and Treasury.
- Assess business impact of configuration or process changes.
Business Partnering & Expansion
- Serve as the primary liaison between Finance and IT.
- Support onboarding of new entities, acquisitions, and business units into ERP.
- Drive harmonization and standardization across entities.
Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure ERP supports statutory, management, and consolidation reporting.
- Strengthen system-enabled controls and support audit requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA (Finance) / CA / CMA or equivalent (mandatory).
- 10+ years of experience across Finance and ERP environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP (S/4HANA/ECC) or Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Proven experience in ERP transformation and finance system implementation.
- Experience in multi-entity environments preferred.
