Job Description

Job Purpose:

The ERP Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system implementations and enhancements. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning ERP solutions with business objectives and operational needs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, including internal business users, IT teams, and external vendors or system integrators.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and issues, and implement mitigation plans as needed.
  • Ensure ERP solutions meet business requirements and comply with organizational standards and governance.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive-level updates.
  • Oversee data migration, system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management activities.
  • Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and user training are completed.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities within ERP systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Project Management & ERP-related certifications (PMP, or equivalent).

Minimum Experience:

+5 years of experience in ERP, IT or business systems projects.

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Strong understanding of ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Solid project management skills, including scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with change management and business processes.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or similar).
  • Strong leadership capability in managing cross-functional ERP teams, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the ERP project lifecycle.
