Estimation Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and quantity take-offs.
• Analyze material, labor, and equipment costs for projects.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations.
• Prepare tender submissions, bid proposals, and cost breakdowns.
• Conduct rate analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and prepare comparison sheets.
• Support the commercial and project teams during tender negotiations.
• Maintain cost databases and update market price information.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia projects.
• Familiarity with local construction standards and tender procedures.
• Experienced in registering companies on various Saudi tender platforms, real estate development companies, and project funders.
• Connections and good relations with project owners and government agencies to participate in tenders and secure projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil or any related disciplines.
• 1015 years of experience in estimation or tendering within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, and cost estimation.
• Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (CostX, CCS Candy, etc.).
• Experience with building and infrastructure projects.
• Good communication and analytical skills.
