Job Description

Job Title: Estimation Engineer (Facility Management)

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Certifications in cost estimation, project management, or FM industry standards (preferred)

Experience

3-7 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in facility management, construction, or MEP services

Experience in hard & soft FM services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, cleaning, etc.)

Exposure to tendering, bidding, and contract management.

Valid UAE Driving Licence.

Key Skills & Knowledge

Cost Estimation & BOQ Preparation Develop accurate cost estimates for FM contracts

Tendering & Bidding Prepare technical & commercial bids for FM service contracts

MEP & Civil Maintenance Knowledge Expertise in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and infrastructure

Project Costing & Budgeting Analyse material, labour, and subcontractor costs

Technical Proposal Writing Prepare RFQ, RFP responses, and scope of work documents

Software Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel (advanced)

Negotiation & Vendor Coordination Work with suppliers & subcontractors for cost optimization

Compliance & Regulations Knowledge of local building codes, safety, and contract laws

Responsibilities

Analyse client requirements and prepare cost estimates

Develop BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for maintenance, repairs, and service contracts

Prepare tenders & bidding documents for FM projects

Liaise with procurement & vendors to get competitive quotes

Conduct site inspections to assess costs for refurbishments & maintenance contracts

Collaborate with operations teams to optimize resource planning

Ensure compliance with contract terms, industry standards, and cost regulations

Additional Preferences

Experience in Integrated Facility Management (IFM) projects

Knowledge of SLA (Service Level Agreements) & KPI-based contracts

Ability to work under pressure and meet bid deadlines

Salary: AED 10K to 12K(Negotiable depending on experience)

Location : Dubai -UAE
