Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Estimation Engineer, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), conducting accurate project cost estimations, collaborating with teams on civil engineering designs, and providing cost-related insights for ongoing and upcoming projects. This role also includes negotiating with vendors or clients, performing research for accurate data analysis, and supporting project proposals in alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed project estimations.
- Strong foundation in Civil Engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent skills in Negotiation and Research for supporting cost analysis and vendor management.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work with deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Prior experience in estimation for construction or lighting projects is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Familiarity with market trends and pricing in the Middle East region is a plus.
