Estimation Engineer

Job Opening: Estimator (Full-Time)

Location: Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have 35 years of experience in the UAE, with strong knowledge of cost estimation, tendering, and project pricing in the construction/engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracting.

Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to determine required inputs.

Analyze and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost breakdowns, and tender documentation.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement for technical clarifications.

Monitor price trends, market rates, and update the cost database regularly.

Assist in value engineering proposals to optimize project costs.

Provide post-tender support, clarifications, and cost adjustments as needed.

Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, project requirements, and industry practices.

Requirements

35 years of relevant experience in the UAE (mandatory).

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and market pricing.

Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar) and MS Office applications.

Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Must be currently based in the UAE (preferably Abu Dhabi).
