Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineers (MEP & Civil) to prepare precise cost estimates, material take-offs, unit rate breakdowns, and tender submissions for multidisciplinary projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Quantity Take-Offs: Extract exact quantities from civil drawings, architectural plans, and MEP schematics.
• Tender & BOQ Preparation: Build detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), unit rate analysis, and financial tender packages.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Sourcing: Issue RFQs, evaluate quotes, and negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers.
• Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving alternatives and assess commercial risks in contract terms.
• Authority Compliance: Ensure estimates meet local UAE standards (DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense, Municipalities).
• Pre- & Post-Tender Support: Attend site visits, submit technical RFIs, and manage project handovers upon award.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
• Experience: 4–6 years of estimation experience in the UAE construction sector (covering MEP & Civil/Fit-out).
• Technical Skills: Advanced MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Candy).
• Commercial Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE material prices, labor rates, and measurement standards (POMI/CESMM/FIDIC).
• Communication: Strong English communication and negotiation skills (Arabic is a plus).
