About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimation Hardscape Engineer to join our Tendering team. The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates for landscape softscape and hardscape works, supporting tender submissions, and contributing to commercial decision-making across proposed projects. This position plays a key role in optimizing project planning, cost control, and bid competitiveness within the landscape and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study, analyze, and evaluate tender documents from a technical and commercial perspective.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for softscape and hardscape works based on BOQs, drawings, and specifications.
- Identify risks, assumptions, and cost-impacting factors during the tender stage.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to clarify specifications, technical requirements, and BOQs.
- Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits as required.
- Review material, equipment, and manpower requirements during the tendering phase.
- Liaise with supply chain and procurement teams to obtain quotations from approved vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Finalize direct and indirect cost estimates and consolidate tender submissions for management review.
- Support project teams post-award by providing budget clarifications and advising on variations, BOQ items, and contractual matters.
- Assist in design development, value engineering, and preparation of technical documentation when required.
