Estimation Manager (Mechanical)

We are seeking an experienced Estimation Manager (Mechanical) for a reputed General Contracting company. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the mechanical estimation function for large-scale construction projects in Dubai, ensuring accurate cost assessments, tender submissions, and coordination with project teams.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Estimation Manager (Mechanical) at our Dubai location. The Estimation Manager will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) construction projects. This includes analysing project requirements, coordinating with clients, developing budgets, preparing detailed proposals, and ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. The role also involves managing and mentoring a team, collaborating with project managers, and optimizing cost efficiency across various projects.

Interview & Location Details

Interviews will be conducted in Qatar, so candidates must be currently in Qatar for face-to-face interviews

Job location is Dubai, and candidates must be willing to relocate upon selection

Qualifications

• Strong background in Mechanical Engineering and expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design and implementation
• Experience in Team Management and the ability to lead and mentor a team effectively
• Proven skills in Project Management and handling end-to-end project estimation and execution
• Knowledge of Plumbing systems with a focus on delivering operationally efficient solutions
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably within the MENA region
• Proficiency in relevant software tools for estimation and project management
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Familiarity with international codes and standards relevant to mechanical and MEP systems
