We are seeking an experienced Estimator specializing in aluminum and glass works to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for aluminum faade, doors, windows, curtain wall, and cladding projects. This role requires strong industry knowledge, material expertise, and proficiency in estimation tools to ensure precise pricing and competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project drawings, specifications, and BOQs to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Assess material, labor, and production costs for aluminum, glass, and associated components.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and tender submissions.
Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and performance standards.
Collaborate with designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure feasibility of estimates.
Track market trends, material costs, and project budgets to optimize pricing strategies.
Conduct site visits and technical assessments when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience
10 to 15 years of construction experience preferred
Strong knowledge of faade systems, curtain walls, windows, doors, and cladding.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel), and estimation software.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Schedule
Full-time (Monday Saturday)
