JOB PURPOSE:
Estimator work closely with project team, design team, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, and builders, to prepare most accurate budget. QS/Estimator must be fully aware to understand and measure the scope of work in drawings and build the budget accordingly.
Responsible to understand stakeholder's requirements and translate the same into budget, in order to support the successful completion of the Projects.
Functional Responsibilities
- Prepare initial budget to the client based on the concept drawings
- To Provide initial MRF
- To Provide initial Job Card
- To Provide Initial BOQ/ Quotation
- Prepare the break down as per production drawings and provide final Joinery MRF including all outsourced items and man hours budgeted.
- Review the Production Drawings Carefully and breakdown all the items
- Submit the RFI's
- Formulate scope of works as per Production Drawings and prepare BOQ
- List all Joinery items required as per design including Outsource and Manpower budget
- List all civil items required as per design including Outsource and Manpower budget
- Build up Final Joinery MRF
- Finalize MRF
- Finalize Job Card
- Finalize Quotation
