Job Description & Summary
Lead iOS squads to design and ship secure, high-performance applications. Own architecture, delivery governance, and team growth while collaborating closely with design, product, QA, and platform teams.
Responsibilities:
- Define and govern iOS architecture (Clean Architecture, MVVM, modular frameworks, Swift Concurrency, Combine).
- Set engineering standards (code quality, linters/formatters, test strategy, performance budgets, accessibility).
- Drive secure engineering practices (Keychain, Secure Enclave, ATS, SSL pinning, jailbreak detection, obfuscation).
- Build CI/CD with Xcode Cloud/Azure DevOps/Jenkins/Fastlane; manage signing, provisioning, and enterprise distribution (MDM).
- Lead delivery executionroadmaps, estimates, risks, dependencies, and scope controlwith clear client comms.
- Coach, sponsor, and performance-manage engineers; recruit and build capability aligned to PwC expectations.
- Partner with architects and product to translate strategy into technical epics and reusable components.
- Oversee SDK/third-party governance (analytics, feature flags, experimentation, identity, payments).
- Present solutions and deliverables to client stakeholders; drive adoption and change.
Required qualifications:
- 812+ years total, 4+ years leading iOS teams in enterprise/regulated environments.
- Expert Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit, Combine/Async-Await, SPM/CocoaPods; modular frameworks and build optimization.
- Networking/offline (URLSession, gRPC/REST, background tasks, caching/sync).
- Testing (unit/UI/snapshot, contract), performance tooling (Instruments, memory/threading analysis).
- CI/CD (Fastlane, Azure DevOps/Jenkins, Xcode Cloud), MDM distribution (Workspace ONE/Intune).
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting communication.
