Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an EV Technician based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The EV Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric vehicles. The role includes troubleshooting electrical systems, performing routine maintenance, inspecting and repairing components, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and performance standards. The technician will also collaborate with the team to enhance operational efficiency and maintain accurate service records.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, including EV batteries, motors, and powertrains
- Understanding of mechanical and electronic components of vehicles, including brakes, steering systems, and other essential parts
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance regulations for electric vehicles
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and attention-to-detail skills
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software systems used in vehicle maintenance
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and possess effective communication skills
- Technical certification or diploma in automotive or electrical engineering is required
- Prior experience as an EV technician or in a related field is a strong advantage
- Willingness to stay updated on EV technology advancements and attend training sessions if necessary
