Event Operations Intern (Program/Apprenticeship) RAISE Summit | Cairo (Hybrid)

About RAISE & RAISE Summit (Powered by USAM)

RAISE is building an outcome-driven summit platform that connects startups, investors, corporates, and public sector leaders through high-energy experiences (showcases, deal rooms, curated matchmaking, and partner activations).

As an Event Operations Intern, you will support the operational planning and on-ground execution of RAISE Summit, helping ensure that sessions, partners, exhibitors, and attendees experience a well-organized and high-quality event.

Program Details

Duration: 4 months (MarchJune)

Location: Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt (Hybrid onsite for key meetings & summit activations)

Type: Internship / Apprenticeship Program

Compensation: Internship program (with performance-based incentives where applicable)

Time Commitment: Part-time to full-time (flexible around university schedules)

What You'll Work On (Core Focus)

You will support the team in coordinating and managing event operations across:

Event Logistics (venue coordination, setup planning, operational requirements)

Attendee Experience (registration flow, support, and event guidance)

Exhibitor & Partner Coordination (booth setup, requirements, and communication)

Session Operations (supporting speakers, timing, and session readiness)

Responsibilities

Support operational planning and coordination for RAISE Summit activities.

Assist in organizing venue logistics, setup plans, and operational checklists.

Coordinate with different teams (program, partnerships, marketing) to ensure smooth event preparation.

Help manage attendee registration and communication processes.

Assist in coordinating exhibitor booths, partner requirements, and event spaces.

Support speakers and session management during summit activities.

Contribute to ensuring a smooth and organized on-ground event experience.

What We're Looking For (Youth Talent)

Final-year university student or fresh graduate (12 years).

Strong organizational and communication skills (Arabic required; English is a plus).

Ability to manage tasks, timelines, and coordination across teams.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Ambitious, coachable, and excited by a real challenge + journey environment.

Interest in events, operations, innovation, or startup ecosystems is a strong plus.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

Previous experience in event organization, student activities, or operations.

Familiarity with Google Sheets or coordination tools.

Interest in startup ecosystems, innovation events, or conferences.
