With a strong footprint in the UAE and GCC, we continue to grow and are looking for an experienced Events Director for our Dubai events division.
Overview:
The Events Director will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of event managementstarting from client briefings and concept development to final execution and post-event evaluation. This role requires strategic leadership, strong client relationship management, financial oversight, and the ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team.
You will also play a key role in expanding our presence in the UAE market and ensuring the seamless delivery of world-class events.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Leadership & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end management of events, including receiving briefs, preparing RFPs, developing presentations, and overseeing execution.
- Ensure every event meets the highest standards of creativity, quality, and operational excellence.
- Oversee timelines, workflows, production requirements, and onsite operations.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Act as the main point of contact for major accounts and high-profile clients.
- Understand client objectives deeply and translate them into creative, impactful event solutions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, develop, mentor, and motivate the events team to deliver outstanding results.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Support in recruitment, team structure development, and capability-building.
Financial & Commercial Management
- Manage budgets, quotations, and costings with a strong focus on profitability.
- Negotiate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and partners to secure the best deals for the company.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to company financial processes.
Market Expertise & Growth
- Leverage strong UAE market knowledge to enhance client satisfaction and new opportunities.
- Contribute to business development efforts through pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Identify emerging trends and innovative approaches within the industry.
Communication & Reporting
- Deliver high-quality communication in written and verbal formats.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation, evaluations, and post-event reports.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Events Director or senior events leadership role within the UAE market.
- Strong portfolio covering major event types: conferences, brand launches, festivals, activations, exhibitions, and government events.
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
- Strong financial management and commercial negotiation abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in parallel.
