INFYA is seeking an experienced Events Director to drive the growth and execution of its events business. Based in Dubai, the role requires a strong understanding of the regional market, excellent client relationships, and proven expertise in delivering high-impact events. The Events Director will be responsible for business development, client engagement, and supporting projects from concept through successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with INFYA's event offerings
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Actively reach out to prospective clients and manage ongoing client engagement
- Lead and respond to RFPs, including strategy, proposal development, and presentations
- Prepare and deliver compelling pitches to secure new projects
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the successful delivery and close-out of projects
- Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and emerging event technologies
- Represent INFYA at industry events, conferences, and networking platforms
- Provide regular reporting and updates to the Senior Management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior events or experiential role
- Strong network and established relationships within the UAE / regional market
- Solid understanding of the business environment and industry developments
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with senior leadership
- Based in Dubai, UAE
