Job Description:

• Manage end-to-end customs documentation and clearance in compliance with JAFZA and UAE regulations.
• Ensure compliance with JAFZA procedures, LGP (Local Goods Permit), and free zone requirements
• Ensure complete and accurate documentation (invoices, packing lists, HS codes, declarations) is submitted in advance to prevent customs delays and storage fees.
• Plan shipments in alignment with vessel/flight schedules and complete pre-clear documentation before cargo arrival to minimize idle time and accelerate customs release.
• Oversee B2B shipment movements between vendors, warehouses, and channel partners.
• Monitor cross-border shipments to ensure timely clearance and dispatch.
• Coordinate effectively with customs brokers, freight forwarders, logistics partners, and 3PLs.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, declarations, and compliance documentation.
• Resolve customs holds, inspection issues, and documentation discrepancies.
• Track shipment status and provide real time updates to stakeholders.
• Support audits and ensure adherence to UAE trade compliance laws.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
• Arabic proficiency preferred; English fluency required.
• 3–6 years of experience in import customs clearance in UAE (retail, FMCG, or logistics).
• Strong knowledge of UAE Customs and related regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with external agencies.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP/WMS systems (Oracle, SAP, Infor, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
