Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the entertainment and live events industry, with demonstrated success in operational management.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning and execution at a national level, resulting in increased audience engagement and revenue growth.
  • Extensive experience in budget management relating to large-scale events, including forecasting, resource allocation, and cost analysis.
  • In-depth understanding of current trends and innovations in the entertainment sector, with the ability to apply insights to improve operational processes and enhance event offerings.
  • Exceptional leadership skills characterized by effective team management, conflict resolution, and talent development with a focus on results-driven performance.
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with key stakeholders including artists, vendors, partners, and media outlets to amplify the organization's presence and impact nationally.
  • Experience with risk management and compliance in relation to event operations, including safety protocols and liability considerations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive national strategy for entertainment and live events that aligns with organizational goals and drives growth in audience engagement and profitability.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and post-event evaluation of large-scale events, ensuring seamless operational flow and adherence to best practices.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including industry influencers, sponsors, and community organizations to enhance event visibility and success.
  • Oversee financial management for event operations, including revenue forecasting, budget development, and financial reporting to executive leadership.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation within the organization's event offerings and operational capabilities.
  • Establish and enforce risk management protocols to ensure safety and compliance during live events, addressing potential issues proactively and efficiently.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes, customer experiences, and employee engagement within the events team.
