Role:

To drive the growth and visibility of the brand across the Middle East and Africa by developing and executing commercial strategies, managing sales activities across all channels, and ensuring strong partnerships with importers and retailers.

Job Description:

  • Coordinates the Middle East and Africa region, identifying opportunities and proposing strategic solutions for the development of the brand, distribution and business activity
  • In major Countries (UAE, Saudi, Israel) works closely with importers with the negotiations with retailers , coordinating the commercial policy and promotional
  • Supervise importer activities on the foodservice channel, ensuring the sales teams are always motivated and trained
  • Has a focus on sales and margin targets and handles trade marketing budget, with maximum efficiency , in line with the guidelines set by the International Markets Director
  • Organizes trade marketing activities (instore material placement, tasting activities) , in line with the budget
  • Proposes and brings to life adjustments of the distributed range, in order to improve / extend the product assortments
  • Follows sales results and monitors stock levels, putting in place activities or corrections in case of critical points
  • Monitors competitor's activities, in order to identify opportunities or product range gaps, recommending and implementing new product launches
  • Sends, on a quarter basis, reporting on the trends of the previous period, indicating all considerations about the trend of different product categories, customers, competitors.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be based in Dubai and available for frequent travel across the Middle East region.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the FMCG or food sector.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with importers and retailers.
  • Proven ability to manage trade marketing activities and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
