We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Export Sales Manager to oversee and expand our international sales operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic export sales plans, managing international client and distributor relationships, and ensuring all export activities comply with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive export strategies to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and identify new international market opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of international markets, including competitor activity, consumer trends, and customer needs.
- Identify and establish relationships with new and existing international clients, distributors, and partners.
- Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements and contracts with international partners, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
- Oversee the entire export process, including order handling, logistics coordination, documentation, customs clearance, and shipping arrangements.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as planning, logistics, finance, and production, to streamline operations and meet export objectives.
- Represent the company at international trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
- Monitor export performance indicators, generate sales forecasts and reports for senior management, and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to the export sales and support team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Proven track record and 7+ years of experience in export sales and international business development.
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, logistics, customs procedures, and export documentation.
- Demonstrated success in managing and expanding international client and distributor networks.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a significant advantage.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally when needed.
- Proficiency with ERP and export management software is highly desirable.
