Job Summary:
We are looking for an Export Sales Manager for one of our clients, a leading company in the chemical manufacturing sector. This role will play a key part in formulating the export strategy, directing the team to achieve organizational goals, and establishing new markets for export business growth
.Responsibilities
- :Work closely in developing the Export Business Strategy
- .Identify new international markets for exports and create a detailed plan to enter those markets
- .Direct the Export Sales team in international markets to align with the export plan and strategies
- .Regularly conduct meetings with Sales Representatives, providing guidance and coaching
- .Accompany Sales Representatives in international markets for key account meetings and significant projects
- .Guide the export team to ensure timely closures of ongoing projects
- .Work closely with the Marketing department for participation in international exhibitions and trade shows
- .Review the performance of the export team with sales leadership
- .Arrange training programs (online/off-line) for the Export Sales team
- .Monitor and control the expenses of the Export Sales team in international locations
- .Prepare and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Export Sales team in conjunction with sales leadership
- .Appoint agents and distributor partners in target markets globally
- .Work closely with the Supply Chain team for global logistics requirements
- .Must be well-versed with the regulations, product registrations, and certifications essentially required to export to specific target markets
- .Must understand competitive technologies and communicate them efficiently with the Research & Development department
- .Guide the export team technically with value propositions based on product attributes and technology benefits to customers
.Education & Qualifications
- :Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
- .Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a related field
- .Strong background in B2B Sales, especially selling raw materials to the Paints & Coatings, Foam, PVC, and Leather industries
- .Professional knowledge in sales, strategic planning, and B2B sales strategies
- .Prior experience in African and European markets will be advantageous
