As a Business Development Executive - F&B Events & Catering, you will be the face and voice of The First Group Hospitality's vibrant portfolio of restaurants, event venues, and catering offerings. You bring energy, opportunities, and result-driven mindset to our Sales & Events team. Your focus is to build long-term relationships and be the client's go-to person for Sales of Events and Catering in the market.

Business Development & Sales

  • Act as the primary point of contact via phone and email for corporate and social event inquiries related to F&B venues and catering
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and presentations to showcase venues and services
  • Proactively generate new leads through networking, prospecting, referrals, telemarketing, and digital channels
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve target revenue
  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with market demand

Client & Relationship Management


  • Build long-term relationships with corporate clients, event planners, agencies, DMCs, and community partners
  • Understand each client's business, objectives, and expectations to provide tailored solutions
  • Maintain relationship with existing accounts to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
  • Handle client feedback and after-sales support to ensure satisfaction. Ensure that feedback is shared with other related departments.

Event Execution & Coordination


  • Prepare and manage proposals, contracts, Banquet Event Order details (BEO), and client correspondence
  • Collaborate internally with operations, culinary, other relevant departments to ensure seamless event delivery
  • Support the operational execution of events while maintaining clear communication with the organizers.

Administration, Reporting & Systems


  • Maintain and update client profiles, rates, and contact records in OPERA / CRM systems
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, activity summaries, and market intelligence for management
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to position venues effectively
  • Support the Associate Director of Sales / Commercial Strategy with forecasting, and reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing systems such as OPERA and CRM's
  • Minimum 2 years experience in restaurants, sales, or events
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Dynamic, customer-focused, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
