Title: Civil Engineer – Facilities & Infrastructure
Overview:
Civil Engineer responsible for facility infrastructure maintenance and projects related to buildings, structural elements, finishes, roads, and external works. Ensures safe, functional, and well-maintained built environment assets.
Duties & Responsibility:
- Plan and supervise maintenance of buildings, structures, and civil assets.
- Manage repair works for concrete, steel structures, finishes, waterproofing, and external works.
- Support minor capital projects, renovations, and fit-outs.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contractor submittals.
- Conduct site inspections and condition assessments.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety, and quality standards.
- Support cost estimates, budgeting, and scope development.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain asset records and reports in CMMS.
- Support HSE and risk mitigation measures on site.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10 years experience in facilities, construction, or maintenance.
- Knowledge of structural basics, building envelope, and finishes.
- Familiarity with building codes and standards.
- Experience managing contractors and site supervision.
- CMMS experience preferred.
- Strong problem solving and documentation skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
