Job Summary

The Facilities and Technical Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and technical performance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical. This position requires extensive technical expertise, leadership, and experience in both client-side and facilities management provider environments. The role involves managing teams, budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facility Operations & Maintenance: Manage and optimize critical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical) for optimal performance.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and manage a team of technicians and contractors.
  • Budget & Cost Management: Develop, track, and manage the facilities maintenance budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Health & Safety: Enforce safety protocols, perform regular safety audits, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee third-party vendors, ensuring efficient service delivery and compliance with contract terms.
  • Compliance: Ensure the facility adheres to all relevant regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Education: Degree in Engineering (HVAC, Electrical, or related field).
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in facilities management, including both client-side and FM provider roles.
  • Skills: Expertise in building systems, technical troubleshooting, budgeting, and team management.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (CFM, HVAC, electrical, etc.) preferred.
  • Proven track record in Facilities Management, Project Management, Fit-Out Projects, and Asset Management.
  • Strong background in Client, PMC, or Consultancy organizations.
  • Excellent understanding of contract management (FIDIC or similar), technical standards, and UAE authority procedures.
  • Experience managing corporate and high-end luxury developments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Project Management Tools, and CAFM/CMMS Systems.
  • Must be flexible with the timings and shift
