Job Description

Euro Mechanical is looking for a Facility/Asset Coordinator.

This position is for the Emirati candidates only.

The Asset Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate records of EMEC's equipment, machinery, and related assets, and ensuring their efficient allocation to project sites and operational locations. The role supports the availability, utilization, maintenance tracking, and administrative control of plant, machinery, and equipment to meet project and operational requirements across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an up-to-date asset register, track the location, condition, and utilization of all equipment, machinery, and tools, and ensure proper documentation for handovers, transfers, and disposals.
  • Monitor and maintain maintenance logs, service records, inspection history, and coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure timely preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Coordinate the scheduling, mobilization, and demobilization of equipment to projects and operational sites, ensuring availability aligns with project timelines and operational plans.
  • Prepare reports on asset utilization, maintenance status, and movement; maintain supporting documentation for insurance, inspections, operator assignments, and audits.
  • Ensure equipment records comply with company procedures, HSE standards, legal requirements, and internal control processes, flag unsafe or non-compliant equipment for corrective action.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Facility/Asset Manager, Maintenance, QHSE, technicians) and external parties (vendors, suppliers, authorities) to ensure efficient asset management and operational support.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 35 years in asset coordination, equipment control, plant administration, or maintenance support.
  • Experience in EPC, construction, industrial services, manufacturing, or heavy equipment environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with machinery, vehicles, tools, and site equipment records across multi-site operations.
  • Experience with ERP systems, asset registers, or maintenance tracking systems is an advantage.
