To maintain a competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a new Facility Engineer

Job purpose:

Ensure the efficient and safe operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Geidea Egypt's buildings and facilities by implementing administration processes, addressing requests, and collaborating with teams to enhance the overall employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with different teams to plan, schedule and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of mechanical equipment, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of equipment failures.
  • Participate and perform safety inspections and risk assessments of the hubs.
  • Digital systems knowledge and usage (fire alarm, building security, card access, CCTV).
  • Design & optimize facility's layout & critical operational systems.
  • Make sure to follow the safety guidelines and protocols while performing all the tasks.
  • Supervising and overseeing the direction of all services.
  • Enforce all workplace policies and procedures.
  • Monitors and coordinate all activities relevant to the planning, scheduling and quality assurance of the building facilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • +2 years of experience in the facility management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with various maintenance software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions while working under pressure.
