Job Objective
To supervise and manage the day-to-day operational activities of a specific facility within the manufacturing site, ensuring that all infrastructure, services, and support functions (
cleaning, catering, Pest Control, Vending Machines, Furniture) are running efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with regulatory and GMP requirements
Key responsibility
1. Facility Operations Oversight
- Supervise the daily functioning of the facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
- Act as the first point of contact for any operational issues at the facility level.
- 2. Coordination of General Services
- Coordinate the execution of janitorial, pest control, security, catering, and vending services.
- Conduct spot-checks and walkthroughs to verify service quality, cleanliness, and safety.
- Monitor the performance of service providers and report issues or non-compliance.
- 4. Safety, Compliance, and Housekeeping
- Ensure that the facility complies with GMP, HSE, and internal company standards.
- Participate in audits, safety inspections, and readiness reviews.
- Lead or support evacuation drills, safety awareness, and hazard identification activities.
- 5. People & Communication Management
- Coordinate with internal departments (Production, QA, HR, etc.) to ensure facility needs are met.
- Support onboarding of new personnel regarding facility orientation and emergency plans.
- Guide janitorial or support teams working under or within the facility scope.
- 6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of facility checklists, inspections, complaints, and resolved issues.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on facility status, incidents, and improvement plans.
- Provide feedback on vendor performance and assist in KPI reporting.
Academic Experience Required
- Bachelors degree in business administration, or equivalent
Professional Experience Required
- : More than 5 years, including a minimum of 1 year in a leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Computing Skills
- Familiarity with GMP, EHS compliance, and facility systems
Personal Skills
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility tracking tools
- Ability to coordinate multiple services simultaneously
